SolarJam 2016, third annual solar car race event for K-8th graders co-sponsored by OASIS (Organizing Action on Sustainability In Schools) and PSEG
Event Basics:
What?
Solar Car race (vehicles made by students according to specifications below) and Photon Fair (tables available to display/demo anything that uses the sun)
All vehicles and projects must be made by the students!
Who?
Two age divisions (K-5 and 6-8)
Each team must have one registered adult chaparone present on site at the event.
Teachers are not required to attend if there is another adult chaparone (such as a parent).
Students may work in teams as part of school or not.
When and where?
May 14 10:30 registration, 11 first race-2pm at Princeton High School tennis courts (May 15: rain date)
Food?
BYO lunch. Water available. This is a no waste event. Please bring a water bottle.
